Plot summary
Later Elizabeth, Volition, and Captain Barbossa rescue Helm Jack Sparrow from the land of the dead, they must face their foes, Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett. Beckett, now with command of Jones' center, forms a dark alliance with him in guild to rule the seas and wipe out the last of the Pirates. Now, Jack, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Tia Dalma, and crew must phone call the Pirate Lords from the 4 corners of the globe, including the infamous Sao Feng, to gathering. The Pirate Lords desire to release the goddess Calypso, Davy Jones's damned lover, from the trap they sent her to out of fear, in which the Pirate Lords must combine the nine pieces that jump her past ritual to disengage information technology and release her in hopes that she will help them fight. With this, all pirates will stand together and will make their last stand for liberty confronting Beckett, Jones, Norrington, the Flying Dutchman, and the entire E India Trading Company.

Do you lot think he plans it all out or just makes it up as he goes along ?!
- You're mad. - Thank goodness. If I wasn't this would probably never piece of work.
For me, this one was the best so far. A bit too long for my taste, but so are the previous two so I tin't complain near that. Well designed adventure, with scrap less characterization than before, simply those are the same characters we already got to know well, so it should not carp anyone. Acting is skillful, story shifts between drama, fast action, and emotional parts in tempo that prevents yous to get bored during three hours of this crawly gamble. I could fifty-fifty go as far every bit to compare information technology to the "Lord of the Rings" movie. Information technology'due south non that skilful, but in its genre, for me, information technology holds honorable 2d identify right after "The Render of the King".
My favorite parts... The opening scene is one of the best I ever saw. I had goosebumps when they started to sing. And during the reception in Singapore, when Keira disarms herself, her body talk and facial expressions irresistibly remind of Jack Sparrow. The human being who rips off his toe, bounding main mirroring night sky, and on top of everything, the agglomeration of Jacks on stranded Pearl.

Not and then bad, only overall it is a rather disappointing 2nd sequel.
I volition say I absolutely loved Expletive of the Black Pearl, it's one of my all-time favourite movies. Dead Mens Chest was enjoyable and lively, if overlong. At Earth'southward Finish is certainly not a terrible film, far from it, I just constitute it rather disappointing that's all, plot-wise beingness the least remarkable of the three films. I will say there is a lot to recommend it, namely the art direction, and the special furnishings weren't likewise bad either. The cinematography was impressive, there is some lovely period detail and I thought in that location were some very well staged battle sequences. The music by Hans Zimmer, ane of my favourite film composers, was outstanding, very rousing and dramatic. And the performances weren't so bad either- Jack Sparrow is still the lovable rogue we accept come up to know and love, and Johnny Depp played him marvellously. A very talented role player, Geoffrey Rush, sinks his teeth into the part of Captain Barbosa, I specially loved the line, "I'm a bit busy at the moment." And Bill Nighy was delightfully villainous every bit Davy Jones. However, the movie does have flaws that prevents it from being the rollicking film it had the potential of being. The plot did take a while to get going, and sometimes became unfocused and convoluted, similar Elizabeth and Will declaring their wedding vows in the heart of a big fight. Also there are a lot of characters, and one or two of them served no real purpose to the plot, and a lot was crammed into the long running time, so at the finish of the day, it felt a bit bloated. The script was full of existing jokes, not necessarily a bad thing, but overall it lacked freshness, and the humour and fun, that made me love the first film so much. Overall, information technology is certain performances, fantastic music and some well-staged battles that salvage an otherwise bloated and disappointing second sequel. six/10 Bethany Cox

Complete overkill
Although I didn't enjoy the first PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie, I forced myself to sit through the sequel, Dead MAN'S Chest, in the promise that things would pick up a bit. They didn't, but in the interests of completeness I decided to cheque out this, the final office in the initial trilogy, in the hope that things would improve.
They don't. Like its predecessors, AT WORLD'S END is a bloated and overblown exercise in mode over substance. Featuring a cast that the managing director finds information technology incommunicable to keep track, endless action sequences that have no discernible outset or end, repetitive sword fights in which nobody is e'er killed or seemingly wounded, and a complete lack of realism from start to terminate, this is everything I detest virtually Hollywood blockbusters.
There's no grapheme development whatsoever. Johnny Depp is all the same the irritating, one-dimensional graphic symbol he played in the original flick. In that location are WAY too many supporting characters and the screen fourth dimension betwixt them is spread as well thinly, so that few become a await in. Yes, the special effects are first-class, spectacular and photo-realistic, merely the effects never brand a film and these PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movies are a case in point. No affair how much coin you lot're going to throw at a blockbuster, if it doesn't take a proficient story then it's going to sink.
